Who doesn’t LOVE pudding shots?? A little pudding, a little booze … what’s not to like? These are my go to treats when gathering with my girlfriends (and they love them too!). This recipe is designed for Amaretto pudding shots, but you can adapt for whatever flavors you like – get creative and come up with your own combination! Check out my notes below for some other flavor ideas and tips.

  • 3.4 oz box french vanilla pudding

  • 3/4 C whole milk

  • 1/4 C vodka

  • 1/3 C Amaretto

  • 8 oz tub Cool Whip

  • Put pudding mix and milk in a bowl – mix with a hand mixer.
  • Add vodka, Amaretto and Cool Whip – mix well.
  • Pour into small cups with lids and freeze.
  • Enjoy!

  • Variation 1: Substitute with butterscotch pudding and 1/4 C bourbon plus 1/4 C Buttershots (omit vodka).
  • Variation 2: Substitute with chocolate pudding and 1/2 C Baileys Irish Cream or 1/2C Mint Baileys
  • Variation 3: Substitute with white chocolate pudding mix and 1/3 C Kahlua.
  • Make ahead and freeze! These last well in the freezer for up to 6 months.
  • Pour the pudding shots into 2 oz plastic cups; serve with little plastic spoons. This makes for easy transporting and serving. Use a permanent marker to mark the flavors on the lids!
