Fudgy and super delicious! This will become a favorite go-to bar!

  • 2 C oatmeal

  • 1 1/2 C flour

  • 1 C brown sugar

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 1 C + 2 Tbsp butter

  • 1 1/2 C M&M’s* (see note below)

  • 1 – 14oz can sweetened condensed milk

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9×13 pan with butter or Pam spray.
  • Combine oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Melt 1 cup of butter and add to the oat mixture. Cut in well to achieve course crumbs.
  • Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the crumbs, and evenly spread the rest in the prepared pan, pressing down slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile melt the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter in a small saucepan. Add 1 C of the M&M’s to the warm butter and cook over low heat stirring constantly, and pressing the candies with the back of a spoon to break them up a bit.
  • Remove from heat and add the sweetened condensed milk stirring well.Spread mixture over partially baked crust.
  • Combine reserved crumbs with the remaining 1/2 C of M&M’s. Sprinkle over the chocolate mixture pressing down lightly. Bake 10-12 minutes more.
  • Cool completely to set and cut into bars. Enjoy!

  • The regular M&M’s are great, or make these seasonally by using the colored M&M’s that are available at Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, and Fall. Colorful and fun!
