This is a great, easy focaccia recipe you can make any time! Garlic, rosemary and olive oil make this a delicious, savory bread!

  • 1 1/3C water (heated to 110 degrees)

  • 2 tsp honey (or sugar)

  • 1 – .25oz package active-dry yeast

  • 3 1/2 C flour

  • 1/4C olive oil (plus more for drizzling)

  • 2 Tbsp flaky sea salt (plus more for sprinkling)

  • 2 Tbsp fresh garlic

  • 2 Tbsp fresh rosemary

  • In a mixing bowl, add warm water and honey – stir to dissolve the honey.
  • Add yeast, and mix. Let sit for 5-10 mins until yeast is foamy.
  • Add flour, olive oil and salt. Mix well by hand until it sticks together into a ball.
  • Remove dough from bowl and knead by hand on a cutting board or smooth surface for 3-5 minutes until smooth. Spray bowl with cooking spray or olive oil, and return dough to bowl.
  • Once it has risen (it won’t be a huge rise), remove from bowl and transfer to a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Press dough into a large circle about 1″ thick. Cover with a warm damp towel, and let rise for about 20 more minutes.
  • Cover bowl with a warm damp towel, and place in warm location. Let rise for 60 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Remove towel, and use your fingers to poke holes all over the dough – press down to the baking sheet. Drizzle about 2 Tbsp of olive oil over the dough, using a pastry brush to spread. Sprinkle about 2 Tbsp sea salt and the garlic and rosemary all over the top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Slice into 8-10 wedges.
  • Enjoy warm dipped in olive oil with fresh cracked pepper!
