Beef …. it’s what’s for dinner. You’ve got to try these amazing show-stopper steaks!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tomahawk ( or Cowboy) steaks

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3 Tbsp butter

  • 6 cloves garlic

  • 3-4 sprigs fresh rosemary

  • salt and pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Put the steaks on a cutting board or pan. Season with salt and pepper; let stand for ~ 1 hour to come to room temperature.
  • Heat an oven safe cast iron pan on the stove that will fit the steaks until very hot. Add oil and butter until melted and hot.
  • Add steaks and sear ~3 minutes in each side.
  • Add garlic cloves and rosemary – baste steaks with butter and herbs.
  • Put pan in oven and cook until 130 degrees (for medium rare) – about 10 minutes.
  • Carve steaks from ribs and enjoy!

Notes

  • Tomahawk steaks are beef steaks cut with the rib bone attached. You can call your local meat market and ask them or order them if they don’t regularly carry them.
