Honey Glazed Carrots

A sweet and delicious way to prepare carrots, perfect for a holiday or other special meal!


  • 2 lbs carrots, peeled and stems trimmed

  • 4 Tbsp melted butter

  • 3 Tbsp honey

  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  • Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spray 9×13 baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a wide shallow bowl or pan, whisk together melted butter, honey, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and pepper. Reserve 2 Tbsp of glaze.
  • Place prepared carrots in a bowl and coat with glaze mixture. Put carrots on prepared baking sheet, keeping a little space between them.
  • Bale at 400 degrees for approximately 25 minutes until they are cooked, and the glaze has caramelized.
  • Remove carrots from oven and place in serving dish; drizzle with reserved glaze.
  • Enjoy!


  • If your carrots are too thick, slice them in half and place cut side down on baking sheet.
  • You can use regular orange carrots, or try colored carrots for a festive and different twist!
