These blondies are sweet, chewy and absolutely heavenly!

Ingredients

  • 1 C butter, melted

  • 1 1/4 C brown sugar

  • 1/4 C sugar

  • 2 eggs + 1 egg yolk, room temperature

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 2 1/4 C flour

  • 2 tsp cornstarch

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 C white chocolate chips

  • 1 C chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray (or line with parchment paper).
  • Combine melted butter and sugars in a bowl – mix well.
  • Add eggs, egg yolk and vanilla – stir until well combined.
  • Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Add dry ingredients to the egg mixture and stir well. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  • Spread into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until in inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool and enjoy!
