I’ve made this for years for my kids and their friends for post-sleepover breakfast. They LOVE this, and I’ll whip this up on occasion even now! Easy overnight recipe with gooey caramel and cinnamon that is so good!

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen dinner rolls (*see notes)

  • 1 stick (8 Tbsp) butter

  • 1 C brown sugar

  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon, divided

  • 1/2 C sugar

Directions

  • The evening before cooking, take the dinner rolls out of the freezer and let sit on the counter until slightly soft – about 30 mins.
  • Meanwhile, prepare a bundt pan by spraying with cooking spray.
  • Melt the butter on the stove. Add brown sugar and 1 Tbsp cinnamon. Boil to dissolve sugar, then remove from heat.
  • Combine 1 Tbsp of cinnamon and the sugar to make a cinnamon sugar mix. Mix well.
  • Cut the softened rolls in half. Coat each piece with the cinnamon sugar mixture, and place in an even layer in the prepared pan.
  • Pour the warm brown sugar mixture evenly over the rolls. Cover with plastic wrap and a towel, and let sit out on counter overnight to rise.
  • In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove towel and plastic wrap, and bake uncovered for ~25-30 minutes. Once baked, immediately invert into a shallow dish, using a rubber spatula to scrape out any caramel remaining in the pan onto the rolls. Enjoy!

Notes

  • * You can use frozen dinner rolls (like Rhodes) or sub with frozen cinnamon rolls for extra cinnamon goodness!
